All-American in both soccer and lacrosse at Washington College, Bruce Jaeger went on to a 21-year career as a USAF and DC Air National Guard officer — from investigating munitions accidents in Thailand during Vietnam to helping develop the gun system for the F-15.

A 24-year Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps officer, Marc Brewen served from Yokosuka on the day of the 9/11 attacks to Legal Department Head aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, capping his career as counsel for U.S. Naval Forces Central Command in Bahrain.
